The facility seem fine since I haven't observed any problems. I walked through the lobby area and met with my mother at her unit. She seems satisfied and perfectly happy, and I think she wants to stay there, but she did mention a few times that she thought maybe there should be more staff there.
Their skilled team always finds ways to make their health-sensitive menu super tasty and heart-friendly. Rehabilitation/Transitional Care
Our goal is to improve and maintain cognitive skills, coordination, and strength and endurance all while enjoying every moment together. Each day children in our care interact with the residents of St. John’s Circle of Care. Routine activities include reading stories, singing songs, creating crafts, and eating together. L am very happy to be living at Kenny's Pond Retirement Residence; it is very comfortable and the surroundings are pleasant. The staff is very courteous, kind and caring. Service is beyond the call of duty and a deep concern for the safety and security of all.
Everyone was happy at the home, which is an extremely important attribute in my opinion. There were many activities for the residents to partake in throughout the year. There was an ice cream stand open during the entire year for anyone who needed a "lift me up" in the middle of the day. They put on a talent show every year as well as an arts and crafts/bake sale. There is no doubt in my mind that the quality of life provided to resdients at this nursing home is as high on the bar as it can be. I'm convinced that this is one of the best homes someone could be placed in. I visited the St. John's Home long-term care facility to spend some time visiting with the residents.
Memory Care Reviews for St. John’s Home
It's a very nice-looking, well-kept-up place. My sister is on the floor for memory care and dementia. That's a difficult situation, but under the circumstances, I think she's receiving good care. I see what my sister is eating, and sometimes I'm there to help her eat. They have people who come in and provide music, and she enjoys that, but she's physically not able to really do much, as far as crafts or anything like that goes. Most of these people have pretty advanced Alzheimer's disease.
Lost of activities, spacious rooms, beautiful dining area and great staff. The room my dad is in, we think, is very reasonable. It is not spacious but I think it is adequate. They're very accommodating and very good. Overall, it is just a wonderful place for my dad. In fact, we have already recommended it to others.
Join Our Community While You Stay At Home
St. John's Retirement Village is a very caring community. My husband died here a few months ago, and now I am in independent living. It is secular and takes people of all nationalities and religious beliefs. It does have on the top of the main building a plain wooden cross. The cottages are beautiful, and they come in different sizes; mine is very sunlit and carpeted. The wonderful thing is Woodland is rural, and it's not a university town.

This allows you to stay connected with your family and friends who are a part of our Circle of Care. We are happy to provide many types of activities to keep our communities thriving and energized. We feel that you should be able to continue to live life on you own terms. We make day to day living easier by offering the right amount of services and care at the right time.
Nursing Home Care
It has all the amenities for one's safety and comfort. I love the decorating for all the special occasions and the tenant parties have great entertainment. You know that St. John’s has loved and served thousands of residents in their older adult years. We have kept a warm heart and warm home for them. We have cooked meals, sung songs, and held their hands when things got difficult.
The staff seemed to be caring, and the person who took me around was enthusiastic and took her time with me. When living at St. John's Retirement Village, seniors can participate in creative writing programs, art classes, field trips and workshops. The kitchen staff serves three daily meals and a variety of desserts in the home's four dining areas. Multiple outdoor gardens with walkways allow residents to enjoy a nice stroll and watching birds in the birdhouse. Seniors can take advantage of the putting green and bocce ball complex for outdoor exercise. I visited my mother at St. John's Retirement Village.
If you are vegetarian, which I am, they will accommodate you. It's country eating there, like mashed potatoes and meatloaf. It's a very unique place, and it's beautifully landscaped.

Maybe there are other floors with non-memory care patients who are there for physical reasons. Those floors probably offer more activities, but not on this memory floor. The cost seems to be in the range of a number of facilities that we looked at, so I'd say it's mid-range pricing. As residents’ needs change, we help them make seamless transitions to the living option that is best for them.
Beautiful decorations on special occasions. Having my best friend Babe with me makes life so much easier. My mom is in St. John’s Home because of her many falls.
